This page is a plain-text guide for AI agents and crawlers. The site itself is a JavaScript map app, so a fetch of
the home page returns little text. Use a real browser to see it, or use the links below.

## Who it's for

- Residents: "what's being built near me?", "is a data center coming?", "is my street in a flood zone?"
- Real estate agents: home sales and typical prices by town, new subdivisions, which subdivisions are nearly sold out.
- Business owners: new storefronts opening nearby, building permits by trade, traffic counts on nearby roads.

## What's on the page

- **Map:** each shaded shape is a patch of ground a little over a mile across, lit only when at least 3 things
  happened inside it in the month shown, so no single home can be picked out. The bar chart at the bottom replays
  12 months, one month at a time.
- **Search box (top left):** type an address or a place. The counties' own address search suggests matches as you
  type. The answer shows what's filed or scheduled within 1 and 3 miles.
- **Tabs (right side):**
  - Near you: the address answer.
  - Coming soon: big named projects (data centers, stores, developments) and what stage each is at.
  - Latest: public records and local headlines, pinned to the map.
  - Ask: a chat that answers from the same records.
  - For business: what the data can do for a business, and the free AI Business Audit offer.

The chat is answered by Claude Haiku behind a bot check. Automated browsers usually fail the bot check, and then

County records show these figures as of each source's latest published date. Public records lag reality.

## What it will not do, by design

- No owner names, and no home addresses of individual sales. Sales are only shown in patches of 3 or more.
- No single home's value ("what's my house worth").
- No tax delinquency, liens or distressed-owner lists.
- No crime, school rankings or "best neighborhood" opinions (fair-housing rules).
- Nothing outside Columbia County and Augusta-Richmond County yet (no South Carolina, no neighboring counties).
